GONE WITH THE WIND (PG)

Haah..it's been 3 weeks since I last updated...geez how time flies...
Well anyways,I hope every single blogging soul out here is in the pinkest of health..I haven't been that bad either 'cept that the blogging enthusiasm has somewhat died on me...urggh!It's terrible. I know,considering the fact that I was once addicted to it,I was talking blog,walking blog and turning..gosh..GOBLOG!!!(Corny!)
Whatever my reasons or excuses u may call it, Im just glad to be back today,from u guess where?Yups LA yet again...my third LA flt in 4 months!This is cos only about a third of us from the whole cabin crew population are trained for the super-long-range aircraft type which flies direct from SIN to LA and NYC! (which reads...working for as long as 19hrs of flt time + 2hrs of rptg before STD + 1hr of shuttling from the home to the aport..and 1 and 1/2 hrs of gettin the face painted and hair plastered against the scalp to last the whole trecherous ordeal!!!)
Now now..just desserts for wanting to SEE the world huh??
I reminiscised those times when I was so caught up with wanting to be a stewardess..well the interviewer would ask,
"Why do u want to be an air stewardess..??"
and the oh so famous, cliched and award winning answer would be...
"Cos I want to see the world..." Let me tell u,if this is a beauty pagent this will be the part when they say..."WORLD PEACE!" (applause*applause*applause*)
and of course another revised answer from the "How to get through an interview to become an air stewardess" ten year series, updated edition, is....
"Oh, I love to meet people!"
Hey peeps after that kind of a gruelling flt the only world uld see is one that uld dream off after u hit the beds and slipped into a comma for the next 24hrs or so...and trust me..uld even shun away from looking at ur own reflection!!!

Anyway, whilst I was in LA..no I did not pay Mickey a visit..Ive done that already and neither did I decide to reconcile with my old time flame,Spidey who had to work at Universal Studios during the Summer hols.
I stayed in my room and watched a trashy programme...and its called
"MISS DRAG IDOL II" besides MONTEL's,"Im pregnant!Are u the father of my child or r u,or u or u???" and JERRY SPRINGER's," My boyfriend slept with my MuM..and now she's pregnant!"
Just to name a few...and it makes me wonder,what has the world come to...

THE Makan...
Met up with beloved sis and her beloved, and my beloved kuz who left her make up bag at home!hahah!...seriously,if i look even just half as good as she does...i dun tink i'll ever need make up!!!...wealie!
well anyways, had our Makan at Pasta****...hmmph I was pretty disappointed with the Makan,not exactly the best place to have pasta, I would say.

Missing-In-Action
Hey all!First and foremost, I would like to apologise for my recent missing act.
Yes, I've been pretty occupied with stuffs (oh how lame u must have thought!).
Well let me explain ok.
No it's not solely that, actually, something tragic kinda happened recently too.
Well, it's my X. Who was once, one of the closest things I ever had in my life.
X will be the one to remind me of how fortunate I am, keeping me safe,sound and connected!
And X has been the other reason why I started blogging in the first place.
X was like a panacea to my loneliness...(there for me 24/7),at my beck and call...and has even been with me, thru my darkest times! Witnessing my prides and joys!
An epitome of what one would call a SNAG (Sensitive,New And unfeignedly Great!),
My X was a contemplation of a perfect hand-work, sleek, suave and incredibly intelligent!
And suddenly, like death-strucks, my O2-X Phone just refused to function!
It has gone completely berserk,leaving me enstranged and oh-so-helpless!!!
wails....Sob*Sob....wails
Well dun mean to turn sappy and all, but that should explain why I haven't been blogging cos I've tried all the entire time to schedule (urggh!haven't got much time to bring it back to the dealer!!!) for it's revival. Now my Xphone is lying on it's death bed still awaiting my affection,homage and devotion. In the mean time please bear with me okay...and do say a little prayer for my Xphone for it's speedy recovery so I can continue to take more pictures with it for your viewing pleasure okays....? (*winkies*)

Day 1
* Flight time = 12hrs 30mins. (SINGAPORE - LONDON, HEATHROW)
* Safely landed. (Alhamdulillah!)
* Dinner with team mates.
-Damage : 13 Pound.
-Defence : first proper meal after touch down,so it was okay to spend a whopping, omigish 13 Poundx3.18=S$39.64 for a blardie, seafood on a skewer with mashed potato meal!!!
-Fact : Crappy Exchange rate!!! )

* Comatose!
Day 2
First destination
* (Edgeware Station)
-Damage : 4.20 Pound (Day pass)
-Defence : Day pass, so it was worth it!
-Fact : It was worth it, I told u!

-Damage : 5 Pound (Nasi Campur) 1.50 Pound (Teh Tarik)
-Defence : I'ld pay any amount for Halal Food!
-Fact : Yups I'ld pay any amount...plus a chance to see(ermm..errm) Muslim students abroad.See only lah!

-Damage : None
*St James Church Market
-Damage : Still None *(well done!)*

*Oxford Street (Oxford Street Station)
-Damage : Everything I had!
-Defence : ERrr..err... Speechless!

First stop *Mango* - after much conversion and calculation...nah!...NEXT!
Second Stop *Accessorize* - Yeah! Slip-ons that I bought from Singapore is no longer in stock,would have strangled myself if it is cos it will cost lesser in London!
Third Stop *Next* - in a frenzy... didnt know where to start. So while Lin shopped for her lil tyke I went on a man hunt.......
u see every salesman at *Next* wears a sash (no Kidding!Look!)...
THE NEXT MR UNIVERSE TITLE GOES TO......THE GUY AT THE CASHIER!!!...HOT!
Fourth stop *HnM* (now,now,here is where it all began...)
1)white top - Damage : 5.99 pounds, Defence : I realie need a white top, Fact : I realie do!
2)eyeshadow pallettes - Damage : 3.99 pounds x 2, Defence : Been looking for one since eons back, Fact : yah realie, realie!
3)hair accessories - Damage : 1.99 pounds x 3, Defence : hairstyle getting boring! Fact : so cannot resist those pretty little things!
4)silver/grey track suit - Damage : 4.99 pounds, Defence & Fact : (buy 1 get another free u noe...free one for Ira!hehe!..hey c'mon it's not really free okay, its 4.99 divided by 2!)
Fifth stop *Top Shop* - got out the moment I saw the madness...this sign will do the talking...
Sixth stop *Zara* (here I go again!)
1)lovely black blouse - Damage : will not tell ya! (guilty as proven!)
2)striped mini skirt - Damage : 6.99 pounds, Defence : last one and in my size!, Fact : will need it someday.
3)floral knee-length skirt - Damage : 12pounds, Defence : it's on sale! Fact : will need it someday.
4)red top - Damage : 3pounds, Defence : been needing one. Fact : been dying for one plus it's on sale!
5)lilac scarf with sequins for Mama - No Damage cos it's for Mama!

Poor Feet - Damaged by all the walking, Defended by cushioned plaster from boots, Fact : Someone passed a mantra, "BITE UR NEW SHOES,BEFORE U GET BITTEN!"

1)white slip ons - Damage : not telling yet again!, Defence : need it to match floral skirt, Fact : can match striped mini skirt too!
Second stop -* Marks & Spencers*
1)Cesar salad - Damage : 2.99, Defence : it's vege so it's healthy, Fact : Love vege!(khekeh)
2)Profiteroles with chocolate mousse - Damage : 1.99 pounds. Defence : (what defence?it's fattening ok!)
3)Cheese squares - Damage : 1.99x3, Defence : bought for some lovely people.
4)White Chocolate buttons - Damage : 0.55x10, Defence : bought for some lovely friends.
5)Strawberry scones -Damage : 4.99, Defence : Lin said it's a must try!
6)Chocolate bars - Damage : 0.99 x 2, Defence : how much damage can 2 chocolate bars do..??
Day 4
....Thank God,we've taken off for Sin!

...I am just who I am,I sought not to be who I'm not. If I'm to be someone who I'm not just as yet,I'll embrace it when it's due. Besides being this fickle person who can't quite decide if she prefers straight over permed hair, I am pretty much just ordinary. Perhaps, I travel a tad bit more than an average person does,that's cos,It's what I do for a living,for the time being at least. Do not envy me cos the job glitz goes just as far as the plane does,in between,it's (&&*&^^%%&7^%78(9???!)yes..call it love-hate reationship. And I can't quite help it. It's not the best of all jobs,but while I'm at it,I'll give it my best. In here,u'll see depictions of what's nice about my job,about me and my life. But do not be totally taken in cos they may be at times, fictitious. Anyhow, I am just who I am.U may judge. If I like u,it'll matter, but if I dun,then what the..(oh boy does that rhyme!)
