I'm Baccccck!!!

Hey u know,I was so lucky this time round when I was in New York!
Was there on Thanksgiving, so that means,all major stores were closed.Not amazing news for the one shopaholic that I am,u think? But I was well compensated by this huge HUGE Macy's parade.Hordes of people in colourful costumes and cheerleaders in super-tight leotards! And while the bands went marching in, I was held in awe by the heavily decorated floats and hot air balloons! Boy I tell u... all that along Times Square and Broadway!
Anyways, for the first time in my life I was on this very weird shopping stint(the next day that is)! It's called Black Friday, or the first Friday after Thanksgiving when all major stores in New York opens at 5 am! hmm..okay okay,yes! I did set my alarm at 4 just so I could be amongst the first in the queue(well,a shopaholic's gotta do,what a shopaholic's gotta do!). Not so much for the sale...but for the excitement(I promise!But the sale was GOOD nonetheless!)!We braced ourselves through the biting chill and got to the entrance of Macy's.Haha! Boy was it so exciting.What with Fox and CNBC doing a cover for it...didn't know if they catch us on camera..haha..sure hope they didn't! Would have been
malu-ating , I tell ya!

Am packing my bag...
(Nadia to "hrm..hrm") - It's my cargo baglah..not some home entertainment system okay...silly billy U!
YuP u guessed it..NYC yet again..for a week!
U noe how not easy it is to get back to momentum after having not worked for the past 2 weeks!
Trust me, it's NOT EASY.
And what's worse is I can't decide on the "theme" for my trip this time...
U see, cos on every trip I'ld somewhat decide on how I'm gonna dress up there...so what now? Do I be like Sporty Spice? or Posh Spice or Scary or..Cutesey?or Dopey?hmmmph!
I guess I should just pack for two themeslah or I'l have to pack my whole wardrobe,which is, very often, Almost, the case Everytime...
My what-to-bring list...
CASUAL / If I change my mind and decide to look FORMAL instead
- long john /- same long john
- pink turtle neck /- beige turtle neck
- good 'ol jeans /- black pants
- brown polo socks /- black leggings
- brown knit trench /- pretty formal looking trench
- dirty 'ol boots /- equally dirty but pretty formal looking boots
- gloves.. /- so SIA gloves it is..haha!
(gosh! it's stil with a friend who have yet to return it!)
- pink scarf /- same pink scarflah
supplies to beat the jet lag..and bonkering biological clock and hunger pangs...it's food for the soul,food to console me when it's cold outside and knowing that I can't quite leave my room...
- 2 bottles of water...(I accidentally bought 2 diff brands,the other was like 12cents more expensive..man!) actually water is pretty cheap in the States u noe,u can prolly get a gallon= 3litres plus for less than a buck I think...
- koko crunch
- trix
- baked beans
- tuna mayo
- gardenia bread
- milo
- campbell soup
- loackers
- tim tam
- instant teh tarik

...I am just who I am,I sought not to be who I'm not. If I'm to be someone who I'm not just as yet,I'll embrace it when it's due. Besides being this fickle person who can't quite decide if she prefers straight over permed hair, I am pretty much just ordinary. Perhaps, I travel a tad bit more than an average person does,that's cos,It's what I do for a living,for the time being at least. Do not envy me cos the job glitz goes just as far as the plane does,in between,it's (&&*&^^%%&7^%78(9???!)yes..call it love-hate reationship. And I can't quite help it. It's not the best of all jobs,but while I'm at it,I'll give it my best. In here,u'll see depictions of what's nice about my job,about me and my life. But do not be totally taken in cos they may be at times, fictitious. Anyhow, I am just who I am.U may judge. If I like u,it'll matter, but if I dun,then what the..(oh boy does that rhyme!)
