Please, please,please, don't mind me harping over what to some, may be a mindless defense towards being single. Seriously, there is no need for any defences, nor concerns. It's just that it was the last thing I had in my mind before I decide to update,haha! Let's just accrue this to the overwhelming marital invites and news that is surrounding me, and the disappointment of not being able to attend my own first cousin's wedding tomorrow as I'ld be on standby...(SIGH!Told u I love my job....urgh!) Anyways, I'm not so worried,well maybe not yet, cos I'm barely quarter-life..perhaps it'll hit me when I turn 25 in 4 months.Haha.. I'm getting there I know...till then, I just am going to enjoy my singlehood while it last. Regardless, if it's to last or otherwise. And if it does, I'll dawdle myself crazy knitting sweaters out of cobwebs for Yanti's children and grandchildren and great- grandchildren.. that pact me and a really really good friend made, until she found the love of her life, who swept her off her feet and took my partner whom I thought would be doing line-dancing with me, in my withering age.(Geez!) I certainly do not have anything against marriages. I am not about to reject the notion that a traditional, behavariol, scientific and religious approach, drawn from natural sciences, towards a relationship so stable and prolonged, is a blessed unification between two souls, drawn to one in goal, mission and faith. Whatever the case is,I'm happy for my cousin Illa...close we weren't, but sure hope the best for u..may u have marital bliss,and give birth to wealli wealli cute babies! Amin! Since I'm not able to attend her wedding tomorrow,I was at her place today,with the supposed intention to "rewang" but there was nothing much to do really...so Iman,yes that famous lil tyke of Kak Lin,better known as Fashionista...(Haha I held ur bubba in custody tadi..) and made her smile,pose,count to 30 before I told her it was alright to seek for me,hug me real tight..cos oh boy do I MISSSSSSSS her...and yes she was helping to fix the dais too.... While I continue to hobo...enjoy the pictures...:)

It was an experience of a lifetime.

Never would I have thought to have set foot onto the turfs of Kranji where the equnies roam,

not quite freely.

Haha!

But last night was smashing!

Though we did not quite escape from the ogling, gawking, and gaping, of betting enthusiasts,

Big Time Gamblers and old "Ah Peks", inclusive.

They cheered us on while we strut our stuffs down the Parade Square, flashing glistening teethey smiles, from ear to ear,

for a good-God-I-dunno-how-long-it-was,

...we felt like little starlets...

(...only with crampped facial muscles!)

What with the brief 5 seconds of fame we got from being featured on CNA,

it was enough to compensate the fact that the horses received louder cheers than we do...

Haha!

Anyhow,

It was an experience worth remembering, like the few others.

I'm grateful, Alhamdulillah.

Not for the fact that I'm part of a high profile Gambling Event,

but for the opportunity and experience that came with it.

(I think I'm beginning to like number 13!)

So the much awaited,Gala nite has finally arrived.

Lucky thing I had the rehearsal at the Turf Club yesterday to start up the momentum. tho my bun really sucked yesterday,well Ma thought so too...

Lovely Mama came with me to have my Musang2 serviced and we thought we could do a tiny touching up to the nasty,small,but nasty, scratch that someone has left on the front of my car(it couldn't have gotten there by accident,based on its position and severity)...unfortunately, I have to contact my agent,so till then,it'll be there for a lil whilie,just like the bump on my nose...

Hey Ya'll!!!

So I'm baaaaaaaaack...

(direct NYC),

but it wasn't that bad really

cos I have to admit that my new team

Rocks!!!

Tho we can't quite escape from the 'On'ness of some very Virgoans,

(5 of 6 of my new team girls are Virgoans...woohoo! won't feel lonely on birthday this year!!!)

nor the Get-It-Done,and get-it-done-Well Gemini, ranking rookies...

But I guess, that's what that makes a flight well served.

Getting compliments from passengers without having to solicit the complimentary forms...and having them asked real emphatatic questions like...

"How did u guys do it?","Did u guys get any rest at all?"

Maybe its just a courtesy call of some sorts...

but it's sheer comfort to our sore ear muscles and throbbing temples and aching asses...

Summing up,I'm glad to be back.

Infinite happiness!!!

For the benefit of fellow crew...

we r putting up at a new hotel in New Jersey

(ghetto citee...tempat jin bertendang... )

for the interim period of 1 month,not sure if Sq26 set is goin to be staying there as well,but the hotel service is wonderful,staffs friendlier and we get complimentary American b'fasts,every morning. Spread not so great,but it's still FREE! Word of caution: Do not leave valuables in the room while ure out,someone in my set lost a hp!

HOWEVER!!!

Hotel provides shuttle to and from hotel and shopping malls at ur own timing, just inform concierge...one with abt 100 over shops,the other,300

(includes Vict.sec,Gap,Macy's,AE,Abercrombie..plus less tax than NYC!!!)

...should suffice to do a series of uncrontrollable damage, really!

Or if u feel like strutting down Manhattan State City,the hotel can arrange to send u to MetroPark station which is only 10 mins away,and u can get to Penn Station(7th ave,and 33rd strt),in NYC within less than 40mins.

Round trip,non-peak hour tickets available at US$10.25.
